Boyd Mountain Sketching

The grassy fields of Boyd Mountain Christmas Tree farms are so fun to draw because the perspective is easy. The fields recede into the background evenly; the trees are similar sizes most of the time; there are wonderful hills in the distance; and the sky is full of clouds!

This is a graphite drawing 18 x 24 on paper. These drawings are about texture. This tree has an unusual spiral texture in the truck which was fascinating and fun the draw.
