Maura and I are glad tp open our studios for a relaxed afternoon or evening of art and wine.  

Maura’s latest wallpaper collection and Wil’s new drawings. Hart Witzen Studios, 2422 N. Tryon Street in the North Davidson arts District, NODA.

Sketches from France will be at the open house. 

Hiking sketches will be part of the open house. 

Maura's Seaside Collection will be on display. 

Sketches from New York will be displayed for the first time.

Opening Drawing Session

The Quick Center for the Arts at St. Bonaventure University opened the Climate Conversations Exhibit with a drawing session. I lead students in a found texture sketching lesson. It was raining, so we found textures inside the Quick Center like A/C vents, carpet, tile, etc. We finished with a short discussion on using texture to build excitement in your drawings and art.

The Exhibit runs through April 5th.
