Hungary Sketch
This is a pencil sketch I did of a composite scene in Hungary. The church, fountain, and buildings are all in different places, put them together. I like the contrast in the shadow in the three planes of the painting.

Brush & Beats September 20th
This is one of the small paintings I will have on display at the Brush & Beats open studio on Friday, September 20th. This landscape is 7 x 10 and painted in watercolor. I have many, many small paintings and sketches that will be for sale for $45 and below. Join me for a fun evening of art and music. There will be acoustic guitar from Nate Randall. The ubiquitous food trucks will also be down Camden Road. My studio is located in the Charlotte Art League, 1571 Camden Road. The event begins at 5:00 PM. See you there!

Pastel on Black Paper
This is a demonstration drawing from my figure drawing class. It is pasel on black paper. i need to use better paper, this is very slick and too shiny. The model is Sarah Shumway. I love how the pastel is so bright and vibrant on black paper!
Mechanical Drawings
These are ink mechanical drawings of space ships and submarines from TV shows from the 1960s. I am using them for a digital coloring book project. These are so fun to do! I am a boy of the 1960s so these ships have a special place in may heart! The above is the Jupiter 2 from Lost in Space.
Seaview from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
Sky-Diver from the TV show UFO. Is there anything better than a submarine that shoots a jet off the front.
The Chariot from Lost in Space.
Several views of the Jupiter 2.
